PRINTING INDUSTRIES OF ST. LOUIS, INC.
(PISTL)
In 1906, St. Louis printers first banded together to combat the growing problem of costs. In the following years, they determined a costing structure that enabled printers to become profitable. The Association continued to grow over the years as the members' needs changed.
An apprenticeship program was initiated in 1913, and group insurance began in the early 1960s. More recent programs have been added, such as MoPrint Workers' Compensation, the Waste Paper / Recycling Program, and the Printers' 401k Program. PISTL continues to adapt to the changing needs of its members as we strive to advance our members' opportunities for growth
and profitability.
PISTL encourages ethical business practices and excellence in printing, graphics, and related services. PISTL is run by a Board of Directors and has various Committees.
PISTL is dedicated to providing programs, services and support designed to advance members' opportunities for growth and profitability.
