In 1906, a small group of St. Louis printers banded together to combat the difficult problem of growing costs. Little did they realize that their turn-of-the-century efforts at increasing profitability would result in a vibrant organization providing an array of exceptional cost-saving, educational and support programs.
As needs have changed over the years, so have PISTL's programs. An apprenticeship program was established in 1913, followed by group insurance in the early 1960s. As time has progressed, we have added MoPrint Workers' Compensation, a Waste Paper/Recycling Program, the Printers' 401K Program, and more.
However, one thing has never changed . . . our unwavering dedication to ethical business practices and excellence in printing, graphics and related services, all designed to advance members' opportunities for growth and profitability. |
